Week One - Monday: The Square Bot

Since none of us in our group have any real knowledge about building and programming the robots, except Peter, and the only one in the group with any actual knowledge of SolidWorks and assemblies is Geoffery, we decided to start from the complete beginning. So far, Peter is working on the blog, Geoffery is coming up with plans for SolidWorks, and Nick & Jake are currently constructing the square bot as Geoffery and I monitor their progress to keep them on track.

Week Eleven - Friday: Autonomous Racquetball challenge pt. 1

We have finally finished the Racquetball challenge!! The thing is now that we have to make it autonomous. We have begun coding our robot, so we hope to finish this challenge by next Tuesday.

Week Eleven - Monday: Racquetball challenge Pt. 5

This week we plan onto finishing the challenge so that we can move to the autonomous challenge. It has been real challenging to catch up with the other but somehow we are managing to keep up. So, hopefully we finish this challenge before grades close

Week Ten - Friday: Racquetball challenge Pt. 4

We basically are done coding the controller all we are missing is the turning mechanism. But we have started the challenge and plan to finish it hopefully by Monday. This has really set us back greatly.

 

Week Ten - Monday: Racquetball challenge Pt. 3

This week we plan onto starting the racquetball challenge. All we need to do is just to code the robot to the controller. Once we have done that we can finally start the challenge.

Week Nine - Friday: Racquetball Challenge Pt. 2

We have the main design in thought and almost finished. Now we are making the needed measurements to ideally build our robot for the challenge. We are still tweaking our gears and arm to work properly and reliably.

Week Nine - Monday: Racquetball Challenge Pt. 1

We've come up with a design for the end effector and are currently in the process of making it. We were having a small problem the motors and gears. After asking fellow classmates we have fixed the problem and continuing to build the robot.
